OB Clinical Instructor (Sunday Clinical) - BSN Program Angeles College - 1.0 Los Angeles, CA Job Details Part-time $55 - $60 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Nursing faculty clinical instructor experience RN License Bachelor of Science Ob/Gyn Master's degree RN experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bachelor's degree in nursing Higher education teaching Teaching Full Job Description Angeles University is seeking a dedicated and clinically experienced OB (Obstetrics/Maternal-Newborn) Clinical Instructor to join the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program for Sunday clinical rotations . The Clinical Instructor is responsible for supervising nursing students in the clinical setting, facilitating safe patient care experiences, and supporting students in the application of nursing theory to maternal-child clinical practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN who is passionate about mentoring future nurses and promoting excellence in nursing education. Schedule Sundays Clinical hours vary by assigned facility and rotation Part-time / Adjunct Faculty Essential Responsibilities Supervise and evaluate BSN students during OB clinical rotations Facilitate student learning in maternal-newborn nursing care Ensure students adhere to professional, ethical, and patient safety standards Provide clinical guidance, feedback, and evaluation of student performance Collaborate with course faculty, clinical coordinators, and healthcare facility staff Maintain accurate clinical documentation and attendance records Participate in faculty meetings and program activities as needed Qualifications Active and unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred Minimum of two (2) years recent clinical experience in Obstetrics / Maternal-Newborn Nursing Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching in a BSN program Experience in labor & delivery, postpartum, or maternal-newborn units Familiarity with clinical evaluation and nursing education best practices Benefits Flexible weekend schedule Supportive academic environment Opportunity to mentor future nursing professionals Professional growth in nursing education Angeles University is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in its faculty, staff, and student community.
