Clinical Instructor- Temporary Assignment Littleton Public Schools - 4.2 Littleton, CO Job Details Temporary | Contract Up to $40 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications RN License Working with high schoolers Acute care Teaching Geriatrics Full Job Description Under the supervision of the Nurse Aide Program Coordinator, the Nurse Aide Clinical Instructor is responsible for planning and implementing clinical activities to assist students to improve their clinical skills as defined by the Colorado Board of Nursing. Duties include communicating with students and Program Coordinator regarding student's progress, training, skills demonstration, patient care oversight and ensuring students are compliant with CO BON standards as defined in the Chapter XI regulations. The Clinical Instructor is responsible to maintain all professional competence as defined by Littleton Public Schools and the Colorado Board of Nursing. This position oversees high school students during clinical rotations at Memory Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation and Acute Care facilities and ensures they are working within their scope of practice as defined by the Colorado Board of Nursing. The clinical rotations are typically two days in a row, either Fridays and Saturdays or Sundays and Mondays, 8-10 hours per day. The applicant is required to be actively licensed as an LPN or RN and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill. In addition, he/she will have completed a course in teaching adults (Train the Trainer) or documented experience in teaching adults or 1 year experience managing Nurse Aides.

Up to $40.00 per hour
