Department of Surgery Division:
Urology UConn Health invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) In-Residence Assistant or Associate Professor (Ph.D.) within the Division of Urology. The successful candidate will report to the Division Chief and will be expected to develop and sustain an independent, externally funded research program aligned with the Division's academic mission. Responsibilities include pursuing and maintaining extramural funding; publishing in peer-reviewed journals; collaborating with clinical faculty on translational research initiatives; and mentoring residents, fellows, and students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in a relevant biomedical or health sciences field with demonstrated scholarly productivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current externally funded research awards or active grants. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated active funding support and a strong record of grant success. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and funding record. This is a non-tenure track, in-residence faculty position.
