Community-Based Teaching Role Lakeland Regional Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join our growing women's health team as Core Faculty & Research Advisor. This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope OB/GYN while helping support research and scholarly activity for a new community-based OB/GYN Residency Program, anticipated to launch Summer 2027. This hospital-employed role is supported by a collegial generalist OB/GYN team & dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist team, eliminating night call and allowing physicians to enjoy a sustainable, long-term career with meaningful involvement in education. The Opportunity Physicians practice within a stable employment model with strong administrative partnership and opportunity to tailor their clinical practice to their interests. As Core Faculty & Scholarly Activity Advisor, you will receive protected time to: Collaborate with the Program Director and ensure ACGME requirements for Scholarly Activity are achieved Support faculty, resident and student scholarly activity and assist with quality improvement, outcomes research, and clinical inquiry projects that are practical, achievable, and well supported Partner with the Department of Research & Sponsored Studies to guide project development, implementation, and completion Contribute to program operations and compliance efforts through committee involvement, evaluation processes, faculty development activities, and recruitment Teach and mentor OB/GYN residents and medical students in clinical settings Support a positive, hands-on learning environment grounded in community-based practice Practice Culture & Collegiality Our OB/GYN group is grounded in collaboration rather than competition.
