GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY
invites applications for one tenurable senior Assistant Professor or tenured Associate Professor appointment effective for Fall 2026 in the Institute of Health Administration ( IHA ) at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business ( RCB ). Tenured faculty in this rank typically do 40% research, 40% teaching, and 20% service. Salary is competitive. The successful candidate will teach, conduct independent and collaborative scientific research, and contribute to service activities. Required Experience The capability to publish research in refereed scientific, disciplinary, and/or professional journals. Individuals hired as an Assistant Professor hold a recently awarded PhD and show evidence of an emerging research agenda with indications of producing work acceptable to premier outlets. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness is beneficial. Individuals hired as an Associate Professor with tenure will have demonstrated work that meets the standards for long-term employment and academic independence at Georgia State University and Robinson College of Business. The individuals will, at a minimum, be an established academic with a developed research agenda, a sustained history of impactful research, a strong teaching record, and significant service and leadership. Required Education Candidates must have a terminal degree from an accredited business, public health, or medical school. Preferred Qualifications/Experience We would be especially interested in applicants whose work and experience is related to health economics, strategy, organization theory, management science or closely related areas.
