The University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Anesthesiology is seeking additional Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist(s); subspecialty fellowship training in Cardiac, Critical Care/ICU, Neurosurgical, or Pediatric Anesthesiology is preferred but not required. For Cardiac or Neurosurgical Anesthesiology, a minimum of 3 years of substantial experience is also acceptable. Duties of the position include providing anesthesia services at the University of Illinois Hospital and Specialty Care Building and other affiliated sites. Pediatric Anesthesiologists also provide anesthesia services at Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago. The candidate will also participate in resident and fellow education and in medical direction of CRNAs. The Department of Anesthesiology offers sign-on bonuses and a generous package for maintaining CE. The budgeted salary range for this position is $320,000 to $610,000, based on a full-time equivalent and including additional earnings from participation in the overnight call pool. Salary is competitive and based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and budget constraints. This position is intended to be eligible for benefits.
