Family Medicine Faculty Physician (MD/DO)
Compensation:
$200,000 $295,000 per year
Job Type:
Full-time, MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM, in-person (clinical + academic) We are seeking a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join a mission-driven academic outpatient healthcare organization with an affiliated Family Medicine residency program. This role combines direct patient care with teaching, supervision, and mentorship of family medicine residents across the full scope of practice, including obstetrics. Faculty physicians work in a collaborative academic environment alongside residents, faculty colleagues, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians interested in medical education, resident mentorship, and delivering high-quality, community-focused family medicine care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a family medicine continuity clinic Supervise and mentor family medicine residents in outpatient and inpatient settings Precept residents regularly, supporting clinical skill development and patient management Participate in clinical sessions (34 half-days per week) with integrated resident supervision Provide inpatient attending coverage for family medicine services several times per year Perform and supervise family medicine procedures, including obstetrics as applicable Participate in resident education through didactics, curriculum development, and advising Engage in scholarly activities, quality improvement, and academic program development Collaborate with faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary clinical teams Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across preventive, acute, and chronic conditions Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical and academic standards Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Active state medical license (or ability to obtain) Experience or strong interest in teaching and resident supervision Comfort practicing the full scope of family medicine, including obstetrics Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills Commitment to serving diverse patient populations and community-based care Benefits Competitive compensation package Full, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) Retirement plan with employer match Paid malpractice insurance Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave CME allowance and professional development support Tuition reimbursement and academic development resources Eligibility for federal and state loan repayment programs Long-term academic growth within a stable, mission-focused organization
