Job Description:

Description Rochester Regional Health is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Faculty Preceptor to join our team in the Outpatient Department (OPD). This role offers a unique opportunity to mentor and guide internal medicine residents while providing exceptional patient care in a vibrant, academically focused setting. As a Faculty Preceptor , you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of internal medicine physicians through direct supervision, clinical teaching, and leadership within our residency program.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Precepting :

Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in the outpatient setting, guiding them through patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management.

Patient Care :

Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in a diverse outpatient practice setting.

Educational Leadership :

Participate in residency curriculum development, teaching conferences, and educational sessions.

Faculty Collaboration :

Work closely with a team of dedicated faculty members to foster a dynamic learning environment.

Research & Scholarship :

Opportunity to engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations.

Quality Improvement :

Participate in clinical quality initiatives and promote best practices in patient care. Qualifications Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility) New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date) Prior experience in a teaching/precepting role is preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills A passion for teaching and mentoring residents

PAY RANGE

$200,000.00•$250,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
