Pediatrics- Description
- The Division of Primary Care Pediatrics at Stony Brook Children's Hospital and the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University is seeking a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible Med-Peds primary care physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels to join our growing, diverse, and talented team.

//www.stonybrookchildrens.org/specialties-services/pediatric-specialties/primary-care-physicians The clinical services of Stony Brook Children's serve the nearly 500,000 children of Suffolk County, NY, and boast the following resources: + Residency training programs in Pediatrics, Med/Peds, Child Neurology and selected subspecialty fellowships. + 105 Pediatrics faculty covering all Pediatric Sub-specialties including Adolescent Medicine, Allergy/Immunology, Cardiology, Child Abuse and Advocacy, Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genetics, Hematology/Oncology, Hospital Medicine, Infectious Disease, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonology, and Rheumatology. + Pediatric Surgical Specialists in General Surgery, ENT, Neurosurgery, Urology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Trauma as well as additional expertise in Pediatric Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Oral-maxillofacial Surgery, and Renal Transplantation. + A 10-bed Med-Surg PICU featuring large individual rooms, a bariatric room, and capacity for 2 additional step-down beds. + Rich research resources for laboratory, translational, and clinical research exist within the 20 clinical departments of the Medical School and the larger University. Competitive seed money support within the Department exists for junior investigators or mid-career investigators pursuing new directions.Compensation and Benefits:

- The successful candidate will possess an MD/DO degree and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.
- Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- MD/DO Degree (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years pediatrics and internal medicine experience. Experience in medical education. Commitment to career advancement through significant scholarship.
