Job Description
- Internal Medicine Faculty Opening
- Ohio
- Located in Lima, Ohio
- About the Position
- Serve as Core Faculty within an Internal Medicine residency program
- Play a key role in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
- Provide education, supervision, and mentorship to residents
- Participate in resident assessment and provide ongoing formative feedback
- Maintain active involvement in program development and ACGME requirements
- Work within a 12/12/12 residency program structure
- Responsibilities
- Precept residents in clinical settings and maintain a small independent practice component
- Participate in didactics, curriculum design, simulation training, and educational innovation
- Conduct resident evaluations and provide structured feedback
- Participate in ACGME accreditation processes and site visits
- Engage in GME committees and residency recruitment efforts
- Contribute to conferences, journal clubs, and academic discussions
- Pursue scholarly activity including research, publications, and presentations
- Participate in faculty development initiatives

- Practice Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM) or subspecialty
- Active clinical practice in Internal Medicine or subspecialty
- Eligible for or holding Ohio medical license
- Previous teaching or academic experience preferred
