This academic-focused role offers the opportunity to mentor and train the next generation of physicians while maintaining a balanced clinical practice within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.       Patient Volume:
      Balanced clinical workload with protected academic time
        Location:
        Denison, Texas (60 miles north of Dallas)
          Practice Setting:
          Academic, hospital-based Family Medicine Residency Program
          • Support /
          Care Team:
          Program Director, faculty physicians, residents, and interdisciplinary team
          • EMR /
          Technology:
          Modern EMR and teaching infrastructure Responsibilities Provide outpatient and/or inpatient Family Medicine care while supervising residents
          • Serve as a clinical instructor, participating in didactics, curriculum development, and resident education
          • Evaluate resident performance and support recruitment efforts
          • Ensure program compliance with institutional and accreditation standards
          • Participate in scholarly activity and program development
          • Document patient care using hospital EMR system Compensation & Benefits

                Wellness & Work-Life Balance Support:
                Balanced clinical and teaching schedule Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
                • Active or eligible Texas medical license
                • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic medicine preferred
                • Obstetrics experience or fellowship training preferred
                • Interest or experience in prenatal care and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a plus Growth & Development Core faculty role with opportunities for leadership and academic advancement
                • Active involvement in curriculum development and resident education
                • Support for scholarly activities and professional development
