Position Type:

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a dedicated Sonography Instructor to guide students in mastering course competencies and excelling in today's dynamic healthcare marketplace. As a key member of our learning-centered environment, you will foster a culture of mutual respect, lifelong learning, and professional development that aligns with the CHCP philosophy. Responsibilities Engage students in competency-based education aligned with the CHCP curriculum model. Design and deliver innovative instruction and activities that spark student curiosity. Empower students to achieve exit competencies through personalized instruction and evaluation. Cultivate a positive, vibrant classroom atmosphere that inspires learning and success. Provide timely feedback, support struggling students, and promote collaboration. Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to student achievement. Maintain accurate records, participate in meetings, and contribute to campus initiatives. Bring real-world Sonography experience into the classroom and stay current with industry trends. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to connect with students and foster a supportive learning environment. Adaptable teaching style to meet diverse student needs. Strong lesson planning and organizational skills. Dedicated to student learning, success, and professional growth. Proficient in educational technology and open to exploring new tools. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement. Education and Experience
Minimum Education:
Associate's Degree in a related field.
Professional Credentials:
Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registries required.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in Sonography. Demonstrated proficiency in teaching methodology and instructional techniques. Highly organized, confident speaker, and passionate about education.
