Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Cardiac Instructor & Clinical Coordinator to lead our cardiovascular education programs and oversee clinical training initiatives. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive cardiac training curricula tailored to diverse learner needs, including nursing staff, students, and healthcare professionals. Lead engaging classroom sessions, practical demonstrations, and simulation exercises focused on cardiac physiology, anatomy, and emergency response procedures. Coordinate clinical rotations across various departments such as ICU, medical-surgical units, pediatrics, and home care settings to provide real-world learning experiences. Supervise and mentor students and staff during clinical placements, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and medical documentation standards. Maintain accurate medical records, training logs, and certification documentation in compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with hospital leadership to identify training gaps, develop targeted programs for critical care and acute care units, and promote continuous professional development. Stay current with advancements in cardiology, medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and healthcare regulations to enhance program relevance and effectiveness. Requirements Proven critical care experience with a strong background in ICU settings; hospital experience is essential. Prior nursing home experience or work within teaching hospitals is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care practices related to cardiac health. Experience in adult education or teaching roles with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, medical records management, and medical documentation procedures. Demonstrated ability to coordinate clinical activities across multiple departments such as pediatrics, home care, or acute care environments. Strong organizational skills with experience in training & development initiatives; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
