WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A RESIDENCE COORDINATOR

As a Full Time, Residence Coordinator at Lyon College, your daily responsibilities will revolve around creating a positive living environment for students. You will be expected to supervise residence hall staff, facilitate resident programs, and maintain open lines of communication with students. Daily tasks may include conducting room inspections, addressing student concerns, and planning community-building activities that encourage engagement and inclusivity. All housing costs (including all utilities) are paid by the college for this live-in position, along with a full meal plan and reserved parking. Family/partners welcome, as well as pets (limit 2). Your schedule will primarily consist of regular office hours, supplemented by evening and weekend commitments to ensure the needs of residents are met. This live-on-campus position requires adaptability and responsiveness, fostering a supportive atmosphere for students. Additionally, you will collaborate with campus departments to enhance student experiences and provide resources, ensuring that students feel secure and connected within their living spaces.
