Under the direction of the Director(s) of Local District Support Services, the Technical Assistance Specialist - LDSS provides coordination, facilitation, technical assistance, and project support to school districts, charter schools, and internal Ventura County Office of Education teams in the areas of continuous improvement, state and federal programs, accountability systems, instructional support, and educational leadership initiatives. The position supports countywide systems improvement efforts through collaboration, professional learning coordination, data-informed practices, communication support, and implementation monitoring aligned with California educational priorities and Ventura County Office of Education goals. The Technical Assistance Specialist assists with planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing countywide initiatives, networks, trainings, technical assistance activities, and improvement efforts designed to strengthen educational systems, student outcomes, and organizational coherence. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in education, public administration, organizational leadership, or related field preferred. Experience supporting educational programs, professional learning, project coordination, technical assistance, continuous improvement, or school/district initiatives preferred. Experience working with school districts, county offices of education, or educational organizations is desirable.
