Full Job Description Senior Admissions Representative Job Descriptions Department:
Admissions Reports to: Vice President of Operations Job summary The Senior Admissions Representative provides prospective students with school and program general information on registration, program selection and academic requirements of the institution to attract them to our Institution/College. The Senior Representative plays both advisory and customer service roles by providing accurate information and direction, as well as promptly answering all questions to ensure prospective student satisfaction. The Senior Representative guides prospective students through the application and admission process by helping them to assess their skills, education and career goals in order to choose the best college and educational program. Additionally, the Senior Representative interacts directly with various supervisors and provides updates on the performance of the admissions team by preparing data analysis of various admissions workstreams. This position is also responsible for serving as a point of contact to Admissions Representatives. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma required; undergraduate degree is preferred. Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience in admissions. Experience in college admissions, adult education, sales, marketing, general knowledge in financial aid, high school counseling. Recruitment experience in allied health programs. Previous experience in education, admissions, customer service or sales is favored. Excellent organizational, communication, listening and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with LeadSquared preferred. Ability to learn how to use and manage new databases and software applications. Excellent customer service skills & ability to work with a varied population. Customer-focused interpersonal skills to interact in an effective manner with prospects and students. Leadership qualities include time management, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, listening skills, problem solving, decision-making, priority setting, work delegation and work organization. Able to respond to a highly variable workload. Ability to interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments. Ability to listen to customers (e.g., staff, etc.) and to understand and respond positively to their requests. Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines. Responsibilities Perform outbound calls and cold calling prospective students. Schedule appointments for one-on-one interviews via extensive phone contacts with prospective students, answer all incoming calls and connect with prospective students. Respond to web inquiries. Interview and enroll students who may be interested in our programs. Explain academic programs and answer any inquiries regarding applications, enrollment, and courses. Arrange and/or conduct tours of our campus and guide potential students through the enrollment process. Facilitate and schedule entrance exams. Record information into various databases and follow-up with applicants to update statuses and answer any new questions. Represent the school to prospective students and their families. Schedule and arrange college fair visits. Arrange and conduct regional group information sessions for students, parents, and guidance counselors. Provide supervisors with reports regarding admissions numbers, metrics, and performance of Admissions department. Other tasks/and duties that may be assigned to the admissions department by management.
