Bilingual (Spanish) Student Advisor

Bilingual (Spanish) Student Advisor American English College is seeking a highly driven, bilingual (Spanish) Student Advisor to join our team. This is a key role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes full ownership of their work . The ideal candidate is a go-getter who can anticipate needs, move quickly, stay organized, and consistently follow through. You will play a critical role in both student support and enrollment growth , ensuring that every inquiry, lead, and student interaction is handled with care, urgency, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Student Support & Administration Clearly communicate admissions, program details, and immigration-related information Support students with academic and general questions Maintain strong relationships with students and staff Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations Student Recruitment & Lead Management (Sales-Focused) Respond to all inquiries (email, phone, in-person) promptly and consistently Actively follow up with leads and maintain regular communication until conversion Track and manage all leads with clear updates and accountability Identify and act on opportunities to convert interest into enrollment Build relationships with agents, partners, and community networks Take initiative in generating new leads and outreach opportunities Marketing & Outreach Ensure timely execution of marketing efforts (flyers, postings, outreach) Familiar with social media and willingness to film/post content Support and contribute to social media and content efforts Identify new partnership and visibility opportunities Take initiative in promoting AEC within the community What We're Looking For Strong sense of ownership and accountability Consistent follow-through — you complete what you start High urgency and responsiveness Ability to prioritize, adapt, and manage multiple tasks independently Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Strong communication and relationship-building skills Bilingual in Spanish (required); additional languages a plus Strong written and spoken English Experience in sales, advising, or customer service preferred Interest in marketing and outreach is a plus AEC Perks Monthly professional development workshops Quarterly team events Opportunity to work closely with leadership Make a meaningful impact in students' lives
