QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a K-8 school or educational setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PowerSchool or a comparable student information system (SIS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and compassionately with diverse families and school staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle sensitive student and family information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to California compulsory education and attendance laws.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with certified mail processes and California truancy notification requirements.
  • Prior experience in a charter school or Title I school environment.
