POSITION DESCRIPTION
The position of Coordinator, Implementation and Instruction, under the direction of the Executive Director of Instructional Services, will play a pivotal role in promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion by providing guidance, support, coaching, and professional development to our districts' educators (teachers and administrators) and assist educators in the implementation of effective instructional practices. The role of the Coordinator, Implementation and Instruction, is to provide direct site and district coaching support around catalyzing change, systems alignment, and establishing implementation practices to sustain improving student outcomes. Their coaching work is intentional and deliberate, providing real time support and specific feedback designed to improve practice with the goal of improving student outcomes. The position is designated as a certificated management position and is a part of the Management Leadership Team. View Job Description Requirements / QualificationsEXPERIENCE
Five (5) years as a successful elementary and/or secondary school teacher. Experience as an instructional coach as well as experience developing and implementing professional development and facilitating groups which would demonstrate exposure to and utilization of required skills, knowledge, and abilities in performing job-related duties and responsibilities in a K-12 public education or business setting is required. Site administrative experience is desirable.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience as a staff developer, coach, coach facilitator for teachers and/or administrators.- Bilingual/Biliterate (Spanish) is Preferred
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required. Master's degree is preferred.CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES
- Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential and Clear Administrative Credential appropriate for K-12 public school administration is required.
- Valid California driver's license You must provide copies of credentials as required for position with your application materials to qualify for the position.
