This hybrid role requires a unique blend of administrative precision and on-court volleyball coaching expertise. You will serve as the primary liaison for parents, manage seasonal logistics, and mentor our coaching staff to ensure alignment with the club's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for parent inquiries regarding schedules and club policies. Oversee club-wide communications (including parent town halls and weekly updates) and manage conflict resolution using established handbook policies.
Coach Coordination & Mentorship:
Provide ongoing mentorship and leadership to the coaching staff. Oversee time and attendance compliance, run regular check-ins to ensure alignment with club vision, and manage the seasonal goal-setting and review processes.
Membership & Compliance Oversight:
Ensure all coaching staff and players meet valid regional and national membership requirements (e.g., USAV/AAU compliance, background checks, and certifications).
Operations & Logistics:
Assist with Parent-Coach Organization (PCO) coordination, fundraising initiatives, tournament registrations, and general season logistics.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of experience in sports administration, club management, or an athletic leadership role (volleyball highly preferred).
Leadership:
Proven track record in mentoring, managing, and evaluating coaching staff or instructors.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience managing parent/customer relations and conflict resolution.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with club sports registration software, scheduling platforms, and basic digital communication tools.
Availability:
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends during the peak club season (typically November-June).
Certifications:
Ability to successfully pass background screening and obtain required regional sports certifications (e.g., USAV, AAU, SafeSport) upon hire.
Pay:
