Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields Bilingual•Verbal and written communication skills required in both English and Spanish Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a college-level admissions staff member. Supervisory experience is needed. Prefer experience as a director or executive at a proprietary college ( for-profit colleges , universities, and institutes ). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and weekends), in order to meet business objectives. The DOA will implement innovative, sophisticated plans to support the admissions office's strategic direction. He/she will coordinate with Department Managers to implement recruitment, enrollment, admissions, and orientation programs in order to meet performance expectations. The DOA is also expected to provide leadership in managing the business plan, controlling expenses, and other managerial functions as assigned.

The position is also responsible for managing and motivating professional employees to meet and exceed goals. The DOA will oversee recruitment and admissions outreach activities, including recruitment events and job fairs, as well as advancing relationships with prospective students to drive enrollment. Additionally, the DOA will develop and nurture networking opportunities in the surrounding communities where the campus is located. The DOA will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace complexity, and have a strong understanding of contemporary enrollment management systems. He/she will need to be an achievement-oriented, idea-generating enrollment professional who can mentor and inspire a talented staff in meeting performance goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides direction and management for the admissions staff. Aligns the enrollment services priorities with the Admissions' Strategic Plan. Oversees the management and operations of the admissions, enrollment and orientation services. Develops reviews and monitors recruitment and enrollment strategies and practices to meet enrollment goals for the campuses. Analyzes statistics and trends to determine enrollment outcome. Collaborates in the development of marketing materials for recruitment. Recruit, train, develop, and manage staff to achieve increased sales, leads, and business results. Understand campus and industry trends and develop business strategies and tactics to respond to market changes and counter competitive activity, ultimately resulting in increased market share. Plan, manage, and execute promotional events to increase enrollments and sales conversion. Develop relationships with local organizations and chambers of commerce to enhance visibility of the organization and promote community relations. Improve sales skills and professionally develop the team's sales skills through regular specialized training. Maintain current records and timely communicate all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, group deals, and follow-up activities within their assigned market using the customer relationship management system.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct management of all admissions representatives and employees. Direct management of 4-12 subordinates. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the organization. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include reviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
