About the Role The Associate Center Director position is designed for individuals who aspire to grow into senior leadership roles within our organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with families, leading teams, driving results, and developing their business acumen in a fast-paced environment. As an Associate Center Director, you will partner with Center Directors to support the daily operations of a Mathnasium Learning Center while developing the skills necessary to lead a center of your own. Through hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship, you will gain exposure to all aspects of running a successful business. Leadership Development Path Our leadership development program provides a clear roadmap for growth within the organization: Instructor Lead Instructor Associate Center Director Center Director As you progress, you will develop expertise in: Business operations and center management Sales and enrollment conversations Customer relationship management Team leadership and staff development Educational program delivery Community marketing and partnership development Financial performance and profitability management Key Responsibilities Family Experience & Customer Service Build strong relationships with students and families Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the student journey Support enrollment, retention, and re-engagement efforts Communicate student progress and program value with confidence Sales & Enrollment Conduct consultative conversations with prospective families Help families identify educational goals and recommend solutions Follow up on leads and support enrollment growth initiatives Overcome objections and guide families through the decision-making process Team Leadership Support hiring, onboarding, and training of instructional staff Foster a positive and accountable team culture Provide coaching and feedback to instructors Assist with scheduling and daily center operations Community Engagement & Marketing Build relationships with local schools and community organizations Participate in events, partnerships, and outreach initiatives Represent Mathnasium within the local community Support center-specific marketing campaigns and growth strategies Operations & Administration Maintain operational excellence and center standards Utilize company systems and reporting tools effectively Assist with planning, organization, and execution of center initiatives Support achievement of center performance goals Qualifications Preferred Experience 1-3 years of experience in management, consultative sales, education, customer service, or a related field Bachelor's degree preferred Skills & Attributes Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong customer service mindset with the ability to connect with families Confidence in sales conversations and overcoming objections Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong leadership potential and a desire to develop others Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and accountability Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Availability Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings, and weekends What We Offer Competitive base salary Health insurance benefits 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off Paid Mathnasium tuition for eligible family members Comprehensive leadership development and training programs Clear career advancement opportunities Potential relocation opportunities within our growing national organization A mission-driven culture focused on making a lasting impact in students' lives Fortis Franchise Group and Mathnasium are equal opportunity employers and maintain a drug-free workplace.
