Lead with Purpose. Are you passionate about promoting a positive school culture and helping students thrive? Join AMIkids Maritime Academy, a charter school serving students in grades 9-12, as our Dean of Students, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping an environment that fosters academic success, personal growth, and community engagement. What You'll Do As Dean of Students, you'll be the champion of student affairs and a key partner in school operations.
Your mission:
ensure every student feels supported, safe, and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a positive school climate through effective behavior intervention and support strategies. Provide guidance to students, addressing academic and personal needs to promote success and well-being. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to resolve concerns and strengthen school culture. Partner with the Principal and leadership team to develop proactive disciplinary interventions and manage referrals. Lead structured orientations to help new students transition smoothly into the school community. Inspire and develop team members through ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's in Educational Leadership preferred). Minimum 2 years' experience in an educational setting. Eligible for state educator certification. Strong communication and presentation skills. Prior experience as a School Administrator or Supervisor.
