Job Description
While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this role is designed to uphold quality and standards. Alpha is constructing a school model of exceptional ambition. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons shift focus to deeper exploration, autonomy, and practical competency development. The model delivers results. But sustained success requires the right family partnerships. This is your entry point. You will manage the complete admissions experience for a single campus, spanning initial application to final enrollment. This role does not involve handoffs. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the educational model, and whether their enrollment motivations align with our philosophy. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is strategic alignment. We welcome applicants from high-caliber service sectors outside conventional education: selective private institutions, competitive programs, upscale hospitality, executive coordination, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly shepherded premium client experiences from inception to completion. What counts is your capacity to orchestrate a detail-oriented, phased engagement with sound judgment, transparent communication, and dependable execution. If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where credibility, professionalism, and experiential excellence shape brand identity, this position will resonate—simply directed toward work that genuinely transforms lives. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently recruiting for La Jolla, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Santa Monica. Relocation assistance is provided. What you will be doing Managing the entire enrollment pathway for prospective families, starting from initial outreach and continuing through final onboarding. Facilitating diagnostic conversations to evaluate alignment before introducing program details or advising on subsequent actions. Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varied enrollment phases, maintaining transparent tracking of progress and scheduled touchpoints. Guiding campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the intended audience for the model. Ensuring CRM and student information system accuracy (HubSpot and SIS) to enable reliable forecasting, strategic prioritization, and consistent service delivery. What you will NOT be doing Applying transactional selling methods or high-pressure conversion strategies. Accepting families whose values or expectations conflict with the model, solely to meet enrollment targets. Overseeing staff teams or navigating complex hierarchical approval structures. Distributing responsibility for the family journey across multiple personnel. Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver a trust-centered, selective enrollment process that successfully converts well-matched families while safeguarding the credibility and academic effectiveness of the Alpha model. Candidate Requirements 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership, or independently operated services). Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial engagement through final onboarding. Track record of concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts at varying stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization methodology. Capacity to share specific instances of consultative guidance, including occasions when you advised against your offering because it was not an appropriate match. Professional-level written correspondence experience with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences. Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or Santa Monica, CA. Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Nice to have Experience in competitive private school admissions or enrollment for selective programs. Background in upscale hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level coordination. Experience developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks. Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance conversion alignment, not merely pace.
