We are looking for a talented and experienced professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong and established track record of leading and growing a Private Christian School. Christian Faith is required to carry out the mission of our school effectively. We are looking for a team player who is energetic, highly organized, dedicated to details and has a caring attitude toward faculty and parents. Must have 5+ years recent experience classroom teaching and leading a school of over 75 students, managing staff and teachers. Oversees daily operations, faculty, and curriculum to ensure a safe, high-quality learning environment and compliance with state regulations. Key responsibilities include leading school-wide vision, managing budgets, fostering parent relationships, providing strategic, top-level management and driving enrollment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties Administration & Operations:
Overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing policies, and maintaining school safety and compliance with educational standards.
Leadership & Staff Management:
Recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating faculty and staff to promote a collaborative environment.
Instructional Leadership:
Developing and monitoring the curriculum, enhancing student learning outcomes, and ensuring alignment with state standards.
Parent & Community Engagement:
Cultivating relationships with families to boost retention, providing excellent customer service, and engaging with the local community.
Admissions & Marketing:
Partnering with administrative teams to attract new families and lead the admission process.
Budget & Finance:
Handling budget creation and monitoring allocation of resources Supervise all staff, maintain up-to-date employee and student files, and billing, and assure continuous compliance with Florida Dept. of Children and Families, the Department of Education, and the Palm Beach County Health Department. Oversee hiring process and orientation for new staff. Oversee contract with Early Learning Coalition of PBC for VPK and agreement with Step Up for Students. Conduct parent tours and manage incoming online and phone inquiries by prospective new families. Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills in English. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Education or Administration.
Experience:
Previous leadership experience in an educational setting, with experience using management or admissions software.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, strong leadership, strategic planning, and expertise in navigating state education regulations. Florida's Director Credentials A private prekindergarten provider delivering the VPK program must have a director who has a VPK Director Endorsement Credential consistent with section 1002.55(3)(g), Florida Statutes, and meets the requirements of Rule 6M-8.610,
Florida Administrative Code:
A Florida Director Credential issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families Implementing the Florida Standards in

3 Years Old to Kindergarten (VFSP or SPC3TK)
- 5 Hour Online Course or 3 Hour Instructor-Led Course Emergent Literacy for VPK Instructors (VPK, VPKR, or VPK21)
- 5 Hour Online Course VPK Director Credential (DVPK)
- 5 Hour Online Course Mathematical Thinking for Early Learners (MATH)
- 5 Hour Online Course Language and Vocabulary in the VPK Classroom (LVPK or LVPK21)
- 5 Hour Online Course The issuance of the VPK Director Endorsement will automatically appear on the Child Care Training Transcript upon completion of all six (6) requirements listed above.
Note:
A private school administrator of a private prekindergarten program who holds a valid certificate in educational leadership issued by the Florida Department of Education as defined in Rule 6A-4.0082, F.A.C., satisfies the requirement for a prekindergarten director credential under section 1002.57, F.S.
