Our Kirkwood, GA location serves a vibrant and diverse community, offering a unique opportunity for a Center Director to lead a high-impact, community-connected school. Each Tierra Encantada location is privately owned and operated, with local leadership playing a critical role in shaping the team, culture, and performance of the center. Position Overview The Center Director is the leader of the school, responsible for overall performance across operations, team development, enrollment, and educational quality. This role requires a bilingual (English/Spanish), hands-on leader who can balance people leadership with strong operational and business execution. The Director sets the tone for the center—building a culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and care—while driving enrollment, maintaining compliance, and delivering a high-quality experience for children and families. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Culture Model Tierra Encantada's core values: Valuing Diversity, Team Focus, Taking Ownership, and Passion for Excellence Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management Foster a positive, accountable culture focused on engagement, retention, and continuous improvement Maintain strong, professional communication with staff, families, and partners Lead by example through active, hands-on involvement in daily operations Staffing, Training & Development Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing development Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll to meet operational and ratio requirements Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide consistent coaching and feedback Support teacher development to ensure strong classroom leadership and execution Operations, Compliance & Facilities Own all aspects of daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment Maintain full compliance with Georgia licensing, health, safety, and company standards Oversee facility maintenance, security protocols, and risk management procedures Ensure all operational systems and processes are executed consistently and effectively Financial Performance & KPIs Drive center performance through key metrics including enrollment, labor management, and profitability Manage budgets, billing, and expense control in partnership with finance Participate in joint business planning and execute strategies to meet growth and performance goals Enrollment, Marketing & Community Engagement Lead enrollment efforts through tours, follow-up, and relationship building with prospective families Execute local marketing initiatives including social media, branding, and community outreach in the Kirkwood area Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to support visibility and enrollment growth Deliver a high-quality, responsive experience that drives retention and strong family relationships Educational Quality Ensure consistent implementation of curriculum and classroom standards Monitor child development and support teachers in delivering high-quality early education Maintain alignment with accreditation standards and continuous improvement efforts Daily Leadership Presence Actively lead day-to-day operations, supporting staff and ensuring execution of standards Conduct tours, engage with families, and step into classrooms as needed Ensure alignment between expectations, communication, and execution across the center Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in early childhood education or a related field Strong understanding of licensing, compliance, and center operations Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive business results Experience with enrollment growth, marketing, or community engagement preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills CPR, First Aid, and Food Protection certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Proficiency in
