We are seeking a passionate, student-centered Middle School Learning Specialist who is energized by working with neurodiverse learners and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This is more than a support role, it is an opportunity to serve as an advocate, coach, and strategist, helping students build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. You will work alongside talented educators, engaged families, and a dedicated student support team to design meaningful, personalized pathways for student success. What You Will Do Design and implement individualized accommodation plans based on psychoeducational evaluations Coach students in executive functioning, organization, and academic strategies Partner with faculty to support implementation of accommodations Collaborate with families and student support teams Contribute to Applied Strategies instruction and student assessments Support admissions review for incoming students Who You Are Student-centered, collaborative, and growth-minded Experienced in supporting neurodiverse learners Strong communicator and instructional partner to faculty Committed to inclusive and equitable learning environments What You Bring Master's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Minimum of three years of relevant experience Expertise in assessment, intervention, and executive functioning support About The Walker School The Walker School is a leader among independent schools in metro Atlanta, serving students from Pre-K3 through Grade 12.
