Company Description Le Jardin Academy, located in Kailua, HI is Hawai'i's only International Baccalaureate World School offering students a world-class IB education from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. Role Description The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for managing and executing annual giving, donor stewardship, alumni engagement, and constituent communication programs that support philanthropic participation and strengthen connections to Le Jardin Academy. Working collaboratively with the Director of Development and Advancement team, this role coordinates fundraising appeals, engagement initiatives, communications, events, and stewardship activities for alumni, grandparents, parents, donors, and friends of the school. Through relationship-building, project management, and thoughtful execution, the Annual Giving Manager helps foster a culture of philanthropy and meaningful community engagement in support of the school's mission. This position reports directly to the Director of Development and serves as an integral member of the Advancement Team. Essential Duties Annual Giving Develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward annual fund donors across key constituent groups. Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel fundraising campaigns utilizing digital, print, social media, crowdfunding, phone outreach, and emerging technologies. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized outreach, engagement, and solicitation. Monitor, evaluate, and refine annual giving strategies to increase donor participation, retention, and philanthropic support. Generate donor lists, campaign reports, and audience segmentation strategies to support fundraising initiatives using RE NXT. Identify, research, and qualify new and existing prospects among alumni, grandparents, former faculty and staff, past trustees, alumni families, and friends of the school. Support the development of a robust donor pipeline by facilitating meaningful engagement opportunities and tracking constituent interests and interactions. Donor Stewardship and Philanthropic Culture Coordinates donor stewardship activities to ensure that all donors are acknowledged and celebrated for their generosity and understand the impact of their gift(s) Develop and execute constituent communication strategies, including the writing, production, and distribution of monthly alumni newsletters and quarterly communications for grandparents and alumni parents, ensuring alignment with the school's key messages, engagement goals, and advancement priorities. Generate creative messaging, mailing lists, and reports for annual giving, stewardship activities, and donor communications Write and personalize donor gift acknowledgments and stewardship activities Coordinate cultivation and stewardship events and special projects as assigned, including alumni gatherings, grandparent engagements, and donor cultivation events. Maintain proficiency in Raiser's Edge NXT and adhere to departmental data management procedures and best practices. Alumni Relations Lead and grow Bulldogs Forever, Le Jardin Academy's alumni engagement program, by expanding alumni contact information, increasing participation, and strengthening alumni connections to the school. Support graduating seniors and their families in transitioning to active alumni engagement. Develop and execute alumni engagement initiatives, communications, and programs that encourage lifelong involvement with Le Jardin Academy. Plan and coordinate alumni events, reunions, regional gatherings, campus visits, and networking opportunities. Establish annual goals, benchmarks, and key performance indicators for alumni engagement, participation, volunteerism, and giving. Track, analyze, and report on engagement, participation, fundraising results, and other key performance metrics on a regular basis. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Three or more years of experience in fundraising, advancement, alumni relations, nonprofit development, communications, marketing, or a related field. Demonstrated success building relationships and engaging constituents Understanding of and commitment to the role of philanthropy in independent schools and nonprofit organizations. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service communication skills. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Experience planning and coordinating events, communications, or constituent engagement initiatives. Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based communication platforms Experience working with donor databases, constituent relationship management (CRM) systems, or comparable data management platforms preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, solve problems proactively, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude, strong initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to building meaningful relationships within the school community. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel as needed.
