Director of Residential Life

Location:

Creston, Iowa Southwestern Community College is actively seeking a full-time director of residential life. This position will play a pivotal role in providing strategic vision and direction for residential life. The director will work collaboratively across campus to coordinate, facilitate, and supervise all operations of the residential facilities. The individual will be responsible for hiring, training and supervising all housing coordinators and resident assistants. The director will spearhead residential life activities to create a sense of belonging and engagement amongst the residents. The director must be highly organized, skilled at conflict resolution, and an excellent communicator. This is a year-long position, and the individual will have the option to live on campus in the director of residential life apartment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is required. Strong computer skills required. Maturity and good character a must. Some college housing experience preferred, either as a student or employee. Must be student-centered, self-initiated, innovative, and results-driven.
