Job Description

Director of Admissions and Enrollment, 2 Hour Learning - $200,000/year USD Crossover - 3.3 Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Client onboarding Student recruitment Admissions and enrollment management Client management Working with families Full Job Description While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this role is designed to uphold standards. Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academic programming, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Student learning velocity consistently exceeds national benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoon hours are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But those results depend on enrolling the right families. This is your responsibility. You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with family onboarding. This is not a relay role. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. Maximum capacity is not the objective. Mission alignment is. We welcome candidates from premium service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership services, or entrepreneurs who have directly overseen complex, high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capability to execute a sophisticated, multi-phase engagement with sound judgment, transparency, and reliability. If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where confidence, professionalism, and experience quality represent the brand promise, this role will resonate—applied now to work that demonstrably improves lives. This is a salaried, full-time, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Chicago, Nashville, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Southlake, and Houston. Relocation assistance is provided. What you will be doing Taking ownership of the complete enrollment process for prospective families, spanning first interaction through final onboarding. Facilitating consultative conversations to evaluate compatibility before proposing solutions or advising on next actions. Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships at varying stages of enrollment, maintaining clear tracking of status and scheduled follow-ups. Delivering campus tours, student shadow visits, and decision-stage conversations that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the intended audience for the model. Ensuring precise CRM and enrollment data management (HubSpot and SIS) to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and consistent service delivery. What you will NOT be doing Applying transactional or aggressive conversion tactics. Accepting families who lack alignment merely to satisfy enrollment targets. Overseeing a sizable team or working within multi-layered approval structures. Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple staff members. Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based. Key Responsibilities Own and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that successfully enrolls mission-aligned families while safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of the Alpha educational model. Candidate Requirements 3+ years providing premium, tailored service in settings where service excellence directly influences brand perception (education, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or owner-managed service businesses). Proven ownership of a full-cycle client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial contact through complete onboarding. Experience concurrently managing 20+ client, guest, or family accounts at differing progression points, supported by a structured tracking and prioritization approach. Capacity to share specific examples of consultative engagement, including instances where you recommended against your offering when alignment was absent. Professional experience composing written communications for senior leaders, high-net-worth clientele, or discerning audiences. Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN, Oklahoma City, OK, Tulsa, OK, Southlake, TX, or Houston, TX. Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Nice to have Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program recruitment. Background in upscale hospitality, VIP client services, or senior executive support functions. Experience designing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols. Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to refine enrollment quality, not merely throughput. This position is also known as: Director of Enrollment Management Director of Enrollment Head of Admissions
