Job Description

Overland Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior High and/or Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead our volleyball program in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and Christian values. Position Type Seasonal Coaching Assignment Part-time teaching opportunities may be available for qualified candidates interested in teaching classes. Responsibilities Lead and mentor student-athletes in a positive Christian environment Plan and conduct effective practices and skill development sessions Prepare teams for competition and oversee game-day activities Foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration Promote and support the mission and values of Overland Christian School Encourage academic excellence and personal growth among student-athletes Maintain a safe and positive learning environment Qualifications Volleyball coaching experience preferred Ability to work with middle school and high school students Strong communication and organizational skills Positive leadership and mentoring abilities Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administration Integrates Biblical principles into coaching and student development Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to student success Christian Requirements Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Supports the mission and Statement of Faith of Overland Christian School Serves as a Christian role model on and off campus Committed to upholding and advancing Christian education Models Biblical character and servant leadership
