TITLE:
Youth Cheer Associate Director
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Possess the professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with athletes, coaches, school personnel and the community. Experience/Background in athletics
REPORTS TO
Elementary/Middle School Athletic Director
JOB GOAL
To provide organized youth cheer opportunities for Campbell County School District.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, print, copy and distribute registration and liability release forms Collect registration and liability release forms from individual schools Organize students onto teams in various divisions, secure coaches (grades 1-6) and create practice plans based on various skill levels. Schedule field time at respective schools within the district Develop both practice and game schedules Hire and pay (as applicable) referees to work the games Hold a training session for coaches to develop a quality coaching staff Order uniforms and other equipment as necessary Regularly check in with Director and AD for communicating concerns, etc. Act as the liaison between the league and the school district Other duties that develop and are not listed (i.e. phone calls, parent contact, fundraising, etc.)
