Hollywood Rd, Houma, LA 70360 Full-time Full-time Admissions Director Vandebilt Catholic High School Houma, Louisiana Position Summary Vandebilt Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven, and mission-focused Admissions Director to lead student recruitment and enrollment efforts. Reporting to the President and serving as a key member of the Advancement Team, the Admissions Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, enroll, and retain students while promoting Vandebilt Catholic High School's mission and values. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic ambassador for Catholic education who excels at building relationships with prospective families, partner schools, parish communities, and other stakeholders. About Vandebilt Catholic High School Founded in 1870 and rooted in the traditions of the Catholic Church and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Vandebilt Catholic High School serves students in grades 8-12 throughout the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Vandebilt Catholic is committed to providing a holistic education that is rooted in religious values, structured through friendly discipline, nurtured by personal attention, and dedicated to academic excellence. The school is recognized for its strong academic programs, vibrant student life, competitive athletics, and commitment to developing young men and women of faith and character. Essential Responsibilities Recruitment & Enrollment Management Develop and implement annual enrollment and recruitment plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and families. Coordinate recruitment efforts with feeder schools, parish communities, and educational partners. Conduct outreach through school visits, presentations, community events, and other recruitment activities. Manage the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment. Maintain accurate admissions records and enrollment data using the school's student information system. Coordinate placement testing and admissions review processes. Collaborate with school leadership to evaluate applications and determine admissions decisions. Family Engagement & Admissions Events Plan and coordinate admissions events including Open House, campus tours, student visit days, placement testing, and special recruitment activities. Create welcoming and meaningful experiences for prospective families. Maintain regular communication with applicants and families throughout the enrollment process. Support new student onboarding and transition activities. Marketing & Communications Assist in developing and maintaining admissions marketing materials. Collaborate with the Communications Office to promote the school through digital, print, and social media channels. Represent Vandebilt Catholic High School at community and parish events. Promote the school's mission, programs, and accomplishments to prospective families. Retention & Student Support Assist with student retention initiatives and enrollment sustainability efforts. Participate in retention committee meetings and related planning efforts. Conduct family follow-up conversations to gather feedback and strengthen the student experience. Leadership & Collaboration Coordinate and oversee the Student Ambassador Program. Train student ambassadors to assist with tours, recruitment events, and admissions activities. Participate in weekly Advancement Team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned in support of school enrollment and advancement goals. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree. Strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Vandebilt Catholic High School. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency with technology, databases, and student information systems. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for admissions events. Successful completion of Safe Environment requirements. Preferred Master's degree. Three to five years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, advancement, marketing, education, or school administration. Experience with Rediker SIS, Admissions Pro, or similar enrollment management software. Experience developing recruitment, marketing, or enrollment growth strategies. Why Join Vandebilt Catholic?
