Job Description

We are hiring a Housing Manager/Universal Worker for our Richmond location. Cherrywood Advanced Living is seeking an energetic, detailed manager eager to promote a fun work environment and exceptional care for our residents. We offer a small setting with only 20 residents in a home like setting. If you are looking for something different that allows you to care for residents and have flexible hours, look no further. The Housing Manager/Universal Worker , in coordination with the Licensed Assisted Living Director, is responsible for the overall success of a 20-resident building and the staff working within it. The Housing Manager/Universal Worker's first priority is ensuring the residents needs are being met and staff have what they need to provide outstanding services to the residents within the building. The Housing Manager/Universal Worker will be responsible for: Working approximately 40 hours a week with hours consisting of 2-4 shifts a week on the floor between multiple buildings and the remaining hours in the office with an on-call schedule included. Maintaining their own schedule and having flexible hours including floor shifts (6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 10pm-6:30am) as needed and office hours (8am-4:30pm). Training, educating, and monitoring staff on the delivery of services provided to the residents and making sure each employee is complying with Cherrywood Advanced Living policies and procedures. Ordering groceries and other supplies to assure the staff have everything they need to provide outstanding services to the residents within the building. Managing building maintenance, upkeep, suite exchange, and overall aesthetics. The Housing Manager is responsible, in coordination with the Licensed Assisted Living Director, for the overall success of a 20-resident building.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PCA or CNA certificate, plus experience (required) Lead position or management experience (preferred) Must be available for variable hours ranging from 6am-6:30pm when not on-call and an on-call rotation.
