Aug 10, 2026 Job Description About STMA Schools We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district consists of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. Position Overview & Responsibilities Responsible for the development and implementation of a successful middle school activities program, including budgeting, hiring, communication with coaches, advisors, parents, students, booster groups and other community stakeholders. Assist administration with discipline and supervision, attend and support district initiatives that create a safe and engaging learning environment, as well as increase student achievement. 193 days (plus additional on-boarding time if new to the district) Requirements & Qualifications Experience in school activity, community education or community recreational programs; evidence of leadership in proving high quality youth programs; must possess strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and have ability to work with diverse groups of people. This is a certified staff position. A teaching license is required and an administrative licensure preferred. Salary Starting salary range = $50,109-$94,390 (range includes 186 days of regular contract and an additional 7 days of add-on time at per diem rate for step and lane = 193 days).
