The Bed Management Representative works under the supervision of the Project Manager. The Bed Management Representative receives reservation information from the physician or physician's office. Designates and coordinates bed assignment, evaluating priority of admissions per administrative guidelines and patient diagnosis, coordinates with Care Managers upfront regarding physician orders and planned treatment to ensure proper placement of the patient in the bed. Skills and Abilities Essential Technical/Motor Skills
  • Must be proficient in typing and computer skills.
  • Able to understand and operate office equipment to include computer, copier, fax, calculator, and telephone (including headset).

  • Able to express and exchange ideas through verbal and written communication.
  • Recognizes and positively responds to customer's needs.
