Qualifications:
Required:
Certified by Missouri State High School Activities Association. Experience and knowledge in weight training and conditioning.
Preferred:
Current teaching certificate, Bachelor's Degree and Head Coaching experience.
FLSA:
Non-Exempt Salary Schedule:
Per approved
Extra Duty Salary Schedule Direct Report:
Athletic Director Terms of Employment:
June & July (not to exceed a total of 80 hours)
Purpose:
Provides coaching and direction to student athletes. Assists students in achieving a high level of skill and appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Essential Job Functions:
Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner. Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement through weight training and conditioning. Ensure the proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment. Adhere to financial policies in regards to collection and disbursement of money, expenses, and receipts. Designs weights and conditioning program. Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities. Develops and maintains positive relationships with parents, and community stakeholders/members. Maintain a safe environment and facilities for student athletes at all times. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students. Must be able to pass background screening including fingerprinting. Other assigned duties.
