South Central Urology Clinic Full Time/PRN:
Full Time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Job Summary The Patient Experience Specialist is responsible for patient registration and front desk operations within the South Central Urology Clinic. This role includes obtaining completed registration forms, verifying insurance, collecting copays/coinsurance, and interacting with patients and the public both in person and via phone to support positive patient experiences. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Register patients accurately and timely; Verify insurance coverage; Collect copays and coinsurance; Scan documents into patient charts; Answer clinic phone calls; Become familiar with worker's compensation and VA referrals; Schedule patients according to provider templates; Perform additional duties as assigned. Responsible for use of computers, scanners, credit card machines, printers, copiers, paper/forms, and handling of money received from patients. Minimum Qualifications Ability to type at least 30 words per minute; Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written communication; Basic computer skills. All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
