The Nevada System of Higher Education, System Administration, Reno Office is seeking a customer service-oriented student employee to provide front desk clerical and reception support. The duties of the position include working at the front desk, answering phones, greeting, and assisting office visitors, and running office errands. The position will also provide administrative support to the office staff and various other administrative duties. It is important for the student employee to be dependable and possess strong communication skills and customer service abilities; the ability to resolve issues and work with employees and customers from a variety of backgrounds. The ability to maintain confidentiality is of critical importance to this position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred. Individuals with technical skills are encouraged to apply, although this skill is not required. Possession of a valid driver's license is also required. $13.00/hr. starting Hours per week will be granted based on the students' schedule and department's needs. Working during summer and winter break is necessary.
