Elon Main Campus Position Summary The Assistant Director of Student Engagement and Events provides leadership and coordination for high-impact student engagement initiatives and signature events within the Love School of Business. This position is responsible for the coordination of several special cohort programs, the Business Fellows program and the Humanity in Business Leaders 3+Co-op program. In addition, the Assistant Director oversees planning and execution of a broad portfolio of LSB events and manages student engagement software. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Success and Faculty Development, the Assistant Director serves as a key partner in advancing the Love School of Business's strategic priorities related to student engagement and experiential learning. Minimum Required Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in higher education or an academic environment Preferred Education and Experience Master's degree preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated success in planning and managing complex events and programs
- Demonstrated experience working with undergraduate, pre-professional student populations
- Knowledge of undergraduate business education and co-curricular programming preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, collaborate across units, and contribute at an administrative level Job Duties Student Engagement Programs and Cohort Coordination Provide coordination, in collaboration with program directors and academic leadership, for the Humanity in Business Leaders 3+Co-op program and the Business Fellows program, including support for structured student development, mentoring, and professional engagement initiatives connected to these experiences.
