The Admissions Advisor is responsible for providing services to meet student needs for admission to the college and to support institutional activities. This person works with other staff in the unit to plan and implement departmental projects. A general knowledge of all offerings and programs, purposes and goals of the institution is the responsibility of the Admissions Advisor.

Specific duties include:

admissions interviewing with prospective students, providing information, and making referrals to other institutional resources. Additional responsibilities include supporting the recruitment program, the assessment center, and the division as a whole. The Admissions Advisor must have a working knowledge of offerings and programs, purposes and goals of the institution. Min Salary $51,292.31 Mid Salary $57,703.85 -We offer a competitive salary package that will be determined based on the candidate's experience level and qualifications related to the job. Compensation will be commensurate with your level of experience. Duties/Functions Difficult Challenges Contacts Education Required Bachelor's degree from an institutionally accredited college/university Education Preferred Experience Required A minimum of two years experience within a higher education environment. Experience working with diverse students including first generation college students, students from under-represented populations, and students transitioning from adult high school programs. Experience Preferred KSA Required Demonstrated knowledge of College Admissions and student success initiatives. Ability to utilize data to assess practices and effectiveness of programs Knowledge of current and emergent practices in higher education which facilitate student success.
