Monthly Salary:
Teacher State Salary Schedule (plus local supplement)

EXEMPT
Qualifications/Requirements:
At least five years of successful teaching experience A valid NC teaching license, 9-12 English Knowledge of research findings related to MTSS which includes CORE, Supplemental services, and Intensive services Strengths in data analysis, instructional design, classroom management, and behavior plan development/implementation Strong communication and organization skills
Duties:
Support teachers in developing interventions and progress monitoring for students (Tier 2 and 3) Work with the administrative, ILT, and student services teams and teachers to develop plans, design and implement interventions, and track student progress Teach one section of English per semester Identify and track students at risk of academic failure Work with teachers to determine remediation and intervention resources for students based on data Develop and implement a data-driven intervention block for all students Coordinate LHS Mentoring program Must be able to perform heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of forces frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects Other duties as assigned
