Exempt Position Summary We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven leader to oversee and develop a team of Admissions Representatives. This role is responsible for driving enrollment performance, improving conversion outcomes, coaching and motivating team members, and creating a culture of accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement. The Assistant Director of Admissions partners closely with the Director of Admissions to execute enrollment strategies, monitor team performance, ensure operational excellence, and maintain a compliant, student-focused admissions process. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and has a proven ability to inspire teams, leverage data to improve performance, and consistently deliver results. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of Admissions Representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team enrollment goals. Partner with the Director of Admissions to execute enrollment strategies and drive overall team performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and implement coaching and action plans to improve results. Hold team members accountable for performance expectations while fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performing culture. Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and development conversations to maximize employee effectiveness. Review admissions activities and student records to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements. Analyze reports, trends, and performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of admissions staff. Recognize and celebrate high performance while proactively addressing performance concerns. Address escalated student and employee concerns professionally and effectively. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and established admissions processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support a seamless student experience. Lead by example through active engagement, coaching, and participation in admissions activities as needed. Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to departmental and organizational initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. 2-5 years of leadership experience in admissions, enrollment management, sales management, recruiting, call center leadership, or a related performance-driven environment. Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving measurable performance goals. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees while driving accountability and results. Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with responsibility for performance management and goal attainment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret reports, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and business reporting tools. Professional presence, sound judgment, and high ethical standards. Ability to travel occasionally (up to 15%).
