Athletic Coaching Positions (Multiple) Coastal Christian High School Wilmington, NC Job Details Part-time | Contract $1,800 - $2,500 a year 1 day ago Benefits Professional development assistance Qualifications Program development Team development Organizational skills Leadership Teaching Full Job Description Coastal Christian High School is seeking multiple coaches to lead and develop our athletic programs for the 2026-27 school year. We are looking for coaches with strong, Godly character who are passionate about discipleship, skill development, and building competitive, Christ-centered team cultures. These roles play a vital part in preparing student-athletes for future success both on the field and in life. Program Overview At Coastal Christian, our athletic programs exist to glorify God, cultivate leaders, and pursue excellence. Each coach will work closely with the athletic department and, where applicable, the varsity coaching staff to establish consistency in training, expectations, and culture while focusing on the holistic development of student-athletes—spiritually, athletically, and academically. Available Positions JV Volleyball Head Coach Varsity Girls Golf Head Coach Varsity Girls Tennis Assistant Coach Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of the assigned program Model Christ-centered leadership, integrity, and servant leadership Develop practice plans emphasizing fundamentals, skill progression, and team concepts Foster a positive, disciplined, and encouraging team culture Prepare student-athletes for progression to higher levels of competition (JV → Varsity or skill advancement) Mentor student-athletes spiritually, athletically, and academically Plan and manage practices, games, and team logistics in coordination with other coaches and the athletic department Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, coaching staff, and administration Uphold and advance the mission and values of Coastal Christian High School and its athletics programs Qualifications A clear, consistent Christian testimony aligned with Coastal Christian's mission Playing and/or coaching experience in the assigned sport preferred Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to develop young athletes and teach foundational skills Willingness to collaborate with other coaches to ensure program consistency Availability and commitment throughout the season, including practices, games, and team events Commitment to fostering excellence, unity, and spiritual growth Why Coastal Christian?
