Coordinator, Continuing Education, Engineering and Transportation Forsyth Technical Community College - 4.1 Winston-Salem, NC Job Details Part-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Data interpretation Cross-functional collaboration Data-driven decision making Quality data entry Full Job Description The Part-Time Coordinator supports the administrative and operational functions of Continuing Education programs within the Engineering & Transportation Division. This role has a primary focus on managing multiple grants simultaneously , including compliance tracking, reporting, documentation, and coordination of grant‑funded activities. Additional responsibilities include course setup, program reporting, student conduct documentation, and coordination of instructional resources. The position reports to the Director of Continuing Education. Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Preferred Qualifications Experience with occupational/trades programs or community college operations Experience with course planning or program development Experience promoting or recruiting for programs Experience managing or reporting on grant‑funded programs Essential Duties Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Grant Administration (Primary Focus) Manage multiple grants simultaneously, including timelines, deliverables, and compliance requirements Track grant expenditures, activities, and performance metrics Prepare and submit required grant reports, documentation, and audit materials Maintain accurate, organized records for all active grants Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding grant requirements Program & Course Administration Manage course scheduling and setup, including building sections and completing course close‑outs Maintain and update course descriptions and program information Ensure compliance with college, state, and program policies Maintain NCWorks Provider programs for WIOA funding Manage supplies and instructor requests, including materials, equipment, and inventory Student Conduct & Reporting Complete and file detailed student conduct reports in accordance with college procedures Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of incidents Community Engagement & Outreach Support outreach initiatives to increase program visibility and enrollment Collaborate with marketing to ensure accurate promotional materials and web content Assist with partnership development and community engagement activities Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
