Job Description

Nature of Work Assist in the development and implementation of a student recruitment strategy with specialization in a focus area. Involves recruiting students, recording student data, and travel. Examples of Work Performed Lead for event and visit strategy, collaborating with other departments to maximize the effectiveness of a campus interactions and prospective students and parents. Oversee and maintain a master event calendar of all recruiting events across campus, ensuring Admissions participation and objectives are aligned with enrollment goals. Strategically plan recruitment events and outreach with campus partners (academic, athletics, etc.) Includes presenting information regarding Chadron State College benefits and opportunities in one-on-one, small, and large groups settings. Coordinates, participate and facilitate assessment in recruitment activities and events; including on-campus; high school based; virtual events; campus visits; summer orientations; and group visits Create, develop, and maintain an effective working relationship with area high schools, community college staff, and community-based organizations as relates to the Chadron area ensuring Chadron State College's participation or representation at public facing events. Events may include parades, county fairs, concerts, and high school or community college athletic events. Create and manage annual budget for all individual and group visits, as well as projected expenditures of for off campus events such as Future Eagle Nights, Athletic event sponsorships, and regional community involvement events. Maintain reports assessing effectiveness of activities and budgetary expenditures and present monthly budget reports to Vice President for Enrollment Management. Track and analyze prospects, recruitment and student data to meet recruitment outcomes set by the college . Analyze ROI and other key indicators necessary to help achieve enrollment goals. Maintain records of number of visitors and prepare monthly and year-end reports of visitation activities in student information systems. Meet enrollment goals for assigned target recruitment events and areas and report progress of recruitment efforts on a regular basis. Assist in the development, marketing and promotion for ongoing recruitment and enrollment events/activities which may include but not limited to: on-campus recruitment events, registration and orientation events, Scholastic Day, and Move-In Days Counsel (via telephone, virtually, and in person) with prospective students and their families to encourage enrollment at Chadron State College including campus visits. Work closely with faculty and other staff to ensure availability and schedule campus visits. Identify, plan and implement recruitment and on-boarding strategies for both campus-based as well as online students Create and manage communication workflows for visits, campus events, and other recruitment activities. Maintain appropriate follow-up communication with students regarding event information and the status of their applications for admission. Act as supervisor and time-approver for Admissions Ambassadors and Call Center student workers. Develop and maintain effective recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and training practices for for student workers.
