Dive into Elmo's World, shop at Hooper's Store, and climb the interactive Sesame Street Playground. Families will love this first-of-its-kind educational play center where learning and fun meet on the most iconic street! Key Objective(s): The main purpose of the Supervisor is: Supports the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations, strategic planning, and development of educational programs. This role involves assisting with staff management, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and fostering a productive and inclusive learning environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operational support: Assist in managing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of all activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and educational guidelines. Oversee payroll functions for team members ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with the Implementation and management of expense and labor budgets.
Staff Coordination:
Support the hiring, training, and supervision of teaching and administrative staff. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing professional development opportunities. Monitor the execution of all training programs for current and new employees ensuring a well-trained, motivated staff.
Program Assistance:
Help design and implement curriculum and experiential learning programs. Assist in organizing and scheduling educational activities and events.
Community Engagement:
Help build and maintain relationships with parents, students, and community partners. Assist in promoting the center's programs and engaging with the community to enhance visibility.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve issues or conflicts that arise within the center. Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Assessment and Reporting:
Assist in monitoring and reporting on the progress and performance of the center's programs. Use data to help make informed decisions and improvements. Ensure compliance of supervisors and team leaders with company policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). 3+ years of experience in educational management or a similar role. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in budget management and strategic planning. Passion for education and creating impactful learning experiences.
