The Phase 2 / Clerkship Specialist is responsible for the implementation, promotion, and enhancement of the quality of the student educational experience from transitional through the advanced clinical rotations. This role oversees the administration of one clerkship while some specialists are tasked with a longitudinal clerkship or a clerkship in addition to Advanced Clinical Rotations.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor`s degree in Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience OR an Associate`s degree Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration with a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Experience working in a higher education or medical education environment, ideally in a School of Medicine preferred. Detail-oriented, ability to work independently, or in a team, and handle multiple deadline driven tasks in a dynamic environment is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing tasks and demands. Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive materials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
