Academic Affairs Technical Assistant (Part-time) Passaic County Community College - 3.8 Paterson, NJ Job Details Part-time $16 - $20 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Free parking Commuter assistance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Life insurance Qualifications Research Desktop applications Full Job Description Passaic County Community College is seeking a Part-time Technical Assistant to provide support to the Office of Academic Affairs. This position reports directly to the Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
Data entry for assigned projects. Research assigned projects Assist with data collection. Troubleshoot issues as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND BACKGROUND
Minimum 24 credits from an accredited college/university required. Previous experience in office setting preferred. Superior computer skills and knowledge of various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, One Drive, Excel, and research engines required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced enironment.
Compensation:
Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $16-$20.
Benefits:
New Jersey Sick Leave :
Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
