Job Description

Job Description Notre Dame High School, Grades 7-12, is seeking a skilled professional for the Assistant to the Advancement Director with a focus on Alumni Relations and the coordination of Fundraising Events. This candidate is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all fundraising events for Notre Dame High School, with a special emphasis on Alumni Relations. The Advancement Office coordinates closely with members of Finance, Marketing, and NDHS Administration to promote an integrated approach to schoolwide fund and alumni development. Responsibilities Coordinate with school administration, faculty, and other internal departments to support the alumni base Engage in Alumni gatherings and functions to foster strong, ongoing relationships with the school. Point of contact to develop a strong alumni base that includes class reunions, special events, celebration gifts for alumni's personal milestones (i.e., birthdays, births, etc), and class communications via chronicles. Works with Class Captains to maintain accurate database information for alumni contact and communication purposes. Develops a networking system for young alumni upon graduation and for alumni who have been alumni for years. Write and publish the Quarterly Alumni Newsletter, Crusader Connection Responsible for the up-to-date status of the ND website reflecting Alumni accomplishments/news Responds to alumni inquiries as needed Helps with Alumni recognition celebrations & special events where alumni and their families may be present, e.g., the Athletic Hall of Fame, Memorials, Golden Mass, etc. Maintains presence on ND Alumni social media pages and makes regular contributions Updates Class Email Distribution lists as necessary Plan and orchestrate the four major fundraising events each year. Raises funds through events for current operations, special projects, and capital growth. Other duties as assigned by the
Advancement Director or Head of School Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of 3-5 years of alumni relations experience, preferably in an educational or nonprofit environment, and related background in fundraising and event planning. Proficiency in Raiser's Edge, Google Suites, and Microsoft Office required High degree of professional and ethical standards as a representative of Notre Dame High School Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), including diplomacy and discretion Well-developed project management skills- works effectively leading a team or independently on multiple simultaneous projects Full-time/12-month position Salary Range 45,000-50,000
